Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

1. We Are Designed for Relationship

Galatians 6:2 says, "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."

James 5 says this: “confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.”

2. Friendship is not the goal, Siblingship Is

Matthew 12:46-50

While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.” He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

Romans 12:10

“Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.”

3. God Uses People to Help You Fulfill Your Purpose!

4. Give Permission to Be Discipled

Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”

Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
