Romans 12:14-16 NIV - Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

Romans 12:19-21 NIV - . Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

  1. Loving One Another is How We Glorify God

Matthew 5:14-16 NLT - “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

  1. Loving One Another is a Commanded Action

John 13:34 NIV - “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

  1. Loving One Another Releases a Supernatural Response

1 John 4:7-8 NIV - Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

  1. We Get Freedom from Fear

1 John 4:18 NIV - There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

  1. We Get our Prayers Answered

1 John 3:21-23 NIV - Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.

  1. We Get Our Sins Covered

1 Peter 4:8 NIV - Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
