Isa. 9:6-7 TLB - ⁶ For unto us a child is born; unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder. These will be his royal titles: “Wonderful,” “Counselor,” “The Mighty God,” “The Everlasting Father,” “The Prince of Peace.” ⁷ His ever-expanding, peaceful government will never end. He will rule with perfect fairness and justice from the throne of his father David. He will bring true justice and peace to all the nations of the world. This is going to happen because the Lord of heaven’s armies has dedicated himself to do it!

I. He is Marvelous in how He Came.

‍

1. He came in Earthly Humanity.

‍

Gal. 4:4-5 NIV - ⁴ But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, ⁵ to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.

‍

2. He came in Heavenly Deity.

‍

John 3:16 NIV - ¹⁶ For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

II. He is Majestic in Who He Is.

‍

1. He is a Wise Counselor who solves my confusion.

‍

2. He is a Worthy Defender who protects me.

3. He is a Watchful Father who loves me.

‍

4. He is a Wonderful Comforter who gives me peace.

‍

III. He is Mighty in what He will do.

‍

1. He will rule Completely.  

‍

2. He will rule Eternally.

‍

3. He will rule Powerfully.
